http://i1273.photobucket.com/albums/...pse222512a.jpg this is the colour I like but would prefer in a solid colour. also shows the highest point on the bonnet is near the windscreen which would allow for the front to sit lower. ive always bin aware that the front on classic cars sits high and may cause lift so by lowering it without distorting the flow would help the driving experience hence the thought of using bumpers as a splitter appealed

Making a visit in June. Should be good day . Least will know the direction builds going and work out the finishing touches. I'm hoping to get some higher profile tyres for my oz wheels and see how they look in the arches.

On speaking to Chris not long ago the amzmx5/r2d2 might be finished by September fingers crossed and with the wind in the right direction allowing for no floods or high winds and many dry days and nights.

Thought I'd ask. If anyone is after a temporary shelter for their builds if they don't have a garage but have a plot of land that a tent can be put up i have a colemans deluxe event shelter for sale. Not bin used, still in boxes. Comes with zip in side panels and floor 15ft square floor space. Bout 8'ft tall.

Might work as a paint booth. Looking for £330 ono. If the asking price is met i will throw in a trolley that will make it easier move round as it weighs 26 kilos plus the side panels and floor. Its a garden trolley that can take up to 120 kilo's

Visiting the workshop next week so might have some updates to the shell and final shape. I've bought a grill that in hoping can be incorporated into the front. Will be great to see the progress. Back end was looking great .

Think the best i can do are shots of panels but not the whole build till its finished. Window shape and bonnet shape is still to be confirmed. I'm thinking of having bumpers put on in the style of the db6. Possibly split or whole
