Passed SVA Today!
Phew! What a trip that was.
Now I need to sit down in a dark room and be still for a while...
Should be registered and on the road next monday...
Good luck to the rest of you builders...

Cheers guys,
Still a big list of things to do...
John, if you want pics of anything specific then let me know.
Need to update my website anyhow.
Just await paperwork from DVLA and Insurance, then I can get plates!

SVA PASSED
Well done John,
I know what you mean about list of jobs, I'm still fiddling and fettling, hope to get mine sprayed soon and then I'll post pictures.
I have just fitted hood and have to say it's not pretty, I'm sure a better design could be thought up. I would like to see a hard top developed, or some form of gullwing doors maybe, what do you guys think.
Hope you enjoy your 5exi soon John.
Regards Brian

I thought the same Brian. I mentioned to Mark at Donnington, has he looked at a design. Firm straight answer was no.
I see a design at the show which I liked (for the life of me can't remember the car). Going to have a play with Ian and Brian to try and come up with a better design using a soft top.

Hi Brian,
Thanks mate, pop in on next time for a chat?
I agree the hood is crap.
But Mark of Marlin is considering other options...

Hi John,
I'll take pics and post them soon...but I want to sort out a few mechanical issues first...like wheels, engine mounts etc...
Any pre-SVA questions then ask...call me at home when free to discuss my SVA issues anytime mate.
I reckon a soft top is a good idea, but maybe a new rear hatch would be a better start...
John
