Default Vacuum Hose & Heater inlet Duct etc

Gent's finally finally started build on 30th December at 5.00PM! It's only taken me 10 months from collecting parts 1 & 2 of the kit from marlin. Now well under way and throughly enjoying it.

Anyway a couple of questions concerning suppliers. Can any of you advise where you source the following not includedin the kit:

1. Yellow vacuum tubing from Brake Servo to engine manifold.
2. Large diameter ducting for the heating/vent air inlet.
3. Edging/braiding material for the hand brake cover.

Would appreciate any help re above.

regards

Mike

Hi Mike,

The large ducting hose should be in the kit (mine was)

As for vacuum pipe...I use a local pneumatic power tools supplier. Check out yellow pages..

Edge trimming for the handbrake......Car Builder Solutions (on the web as www.nfauto.co.uk)...these guys are great....and stock edge trims and most of the odds and sods you will need.

HTH

Hi Mike.

I got a fuel kit from Marlin. Used some of the yellow tubing for the servo.

Cheers

Thank you gentlemen for the information.

Limpabit can you tell what's in the Marlin Fuel Kit?

Thanks

Mike

Going from memory.

It has some lengths of the black rubber fuel pipe and some lengths of yellow pipe. These can be used to join the fuel pipes or as I've done, use as vacuum pipe as well for the servo.

Does not included fuel pipe clips.

Default Servo pipe

On my previous kit car I used 10 mm bore copper tube from the local plummers merchants, worked well.
