Default Using donor doors and frames

Has anyone any advice on using the complete door and frame assembly cut from a car to form the door openings on a kit?

I was thinking about using the doors from an MR2 mk2 that I am dismantelling for parts.
The doors are frameless but I was thinking of taking the complete frame and some roof to make a narrow body 1+1 trike.
Not sure if I will/should keep the roof, I do like the idea of it being closed and dry inside and it will also add rigidity but could make things complex.
Without the roof I could bolt the doors shut and just hop in with the windows powered down.

Thoughts and experiences would be welcome.
Thank you.
