VW Golf Kits

I have a MK3 Golf GTI that is up and running and just used really for when my bike is off the road or during bad winter months.. I am after ideas on whether I can use this for a kit, the options are either to use it as a donor for a new kit or are there any common kits out there which I could swap the GTI engine into.?
