Hi Danny, you mentioned you had sent your vehicle off to the upholster to get the interior done. How did it turn out? Any pics? Did you manage to sell the car?
sorry for all the questions just you have completed such a detailed thread it would be good to see the finished product.

Its still for sale, had a few offers but still wanting a little
bit more. the car is still with the trimmer but will get some pics up early next week!

Not yet as I had to come to work early! I'm currently bobbing about in the baltic sea so can't pick it up! I'm just waiting on some pictures being emailed and I'l post them up.

Im an electrician but i currently operate a carousel (the big red round thing!) it holds cable and we lay it between the offshore wind turbines.....

It was the other way around Geoff, I got the paint from work haha. The GTO isnt Ferrari red, its Carousel red!

That carousel, is it on a 15 foot rim? and does it have spinners?

Hi, I'm really intrigued did you get any pictures of your completed interior done? I notice the advert on ebay has ended so I hope you got a good price for it, the exterior looked great.

I still havent had the interior pictures emailed to me but Im home next week to pic the car up, going to re-advertise it when I get home as I had a lot of people wanting to view the car but Im away.

Just got to finish the stainless 'H' gate.
Add a door handle/leather strap to pull to close the doors.
The little carpet flap in between the back of the seats hides the CD player and heating controls (its set to windscreen and feet as I've covered the front facing vents up.

I Like it Danny, clever idea about hiding the CD and heater controls. Can I ask did they make a panel for the headling or is it mounted directly onto the fibreglass?

I'm not sure as I haven't seen the car in person yet as I'm still away, I was just sent the pics. I think it's just bonded straight onto the fibre glass.
