Talking of leather fitted my bonnet straps today, didn't use the screws and nuts supplied got some from by loacal boat chandler in stainless steel, srews and bolts (cost 50p), as its difficult to get at the back once the front is fitted, Isombard Seanick will know what I'm on about.

Can't match the latest you tube development but found a cheap set of 5 genuine wheels for someone, not sure about the size as seller states they are old metric? You need to be quick though!

It looks like they take the metric tyres like some old metros montegos etc. tyre choice would be limited and probably expensive. That's why they are cheap, best to avoid I would think!

Thanks for the info Froggy, Redrat, the tyres he had were 16 inch, not sure if they fit on 39mm rims though they may stretch? My wheels and tyres are 14 inch but with the beading measure 15 inch. They were still cheap for 5 thats scrap value! Re posted this as the link did not work its in the US but worth a look for the pictures.

Back on it today more sanding and filling, best results are with a block of wood and 120 grt (thanks Seanick). Also change of plan inspired by the aforemetioned who changes his mind as often as his pants, rear boot will be mini hinges, ordered from CBS, wanted austin ones but they were too expensive. Anyway pic of latest part made, goes behind the rear wheel connects the fiberglass body to the metal and stops vibration.
