Default Set of 14" MGB wire wheels - free to a bad home

I have a set of 14" MGB wire wheels that I bought last year on eBay. Unfortunately, the seller was
a) less than honest with his description, or
b) didn't really look at them before listing them, or
c) is a git.

First the good news -
The splines look good to me on all four wheels.
The rims look straight with no obvious damage (however, see below).

Now the bad news -
They will need blasting. They have not been cared for and a "going over with a wire brush" will not be enough.
Two wheels have one or two broken spokes.
One wheel has a slight problem on the inner rim - the edge looks like it has been nibbled lightly by a mouse with tungsten carbide tipped teeth. But, this would not affect the tyre sitting safely on the rim. My guess is that the wheels come from a car that was sitting for a long time and the tyre has gone flat and the rim has just started to rust along its edge.

I was going to bin them yesterday when I was tidying up in the workshop, but they might be useful to someone as spares.

PM me with an email address and I shall send some pics if you are interested.

Collection from Oxford. I'd rather not deal with a courier but will if necessary.

I'd bung them on ebay, but honestly described. Someone will buy them

Tried that a while ago with a 99p start. No bids.

Just a final note to the story as a warning to others who buy from ebay. The wheels, although advertised as 14", were, in fact, 13". Three of them were 4Jx13 Midget whilst the fourth was a 41/2Jx13 Spitfire wheel with the narrower splines. 'Buyer beware' I guess!!

I thought you wanted a tail wheel for a Hurricane, and a steering wheel for a tractor. The chap I bought them from said they would fit perfectly.
