Isn't very good. Can't we all get together and persuade them to use vBulletin?

I've just tried to post my tail light query in there and it just mangles the URLs every time.

vBulletin is free isn't it?

I agree, its very clunky but i haven't been able to access the website for a number of days? I just get a time out after a long wait?

vBulletin is not free, but phpBB is. However its a little more susceptible to hacks.

As far as I can tell the forum there is a project between the editor and the web developer so I can understand if they are reluctant to change it.

I know what you mean about links if you look in one thread I've had to put one post per link

According to a reply on the tread I started, the URL issue is because I didn't put a space between the URL and the next word.

Of course. How stupid of me.

I still cant access the MOC website, but its the only site of many that I visit regularly that isn't working.
i've tried the diagnostics and repair function but no luck.

Anybody else having problems or any ideas to fix this issue?

Are you on Windows? If so go to start then run... type in cmd and press enter.

You'll now have a command prompt open. Type:

ping www.marlinownersclub.com

What this does is finds the server and see if it responds to you. Select it copy and paste on to here (you may need to right click with the moose to be able to select and then copy)

Second think you can do is a trace root with the following command:

tracert www.marlinownersclub.com

What you can do with trace root is see where the traffic is going from you all the way to the owners club server. If it's doing something wrong on the way it may be possible to diagnose the issue.
