Huh, bloody weather.
It was dry in Norfolk yesterday and it'll be dry in Norfolk tomorrow. Today, this is the view from my kitchen (my camera makes it look better than it is, it's actually bucketing down) -
And this is the weather forecast for the route that the Brass Monkey Run will be taking in about ten minutes-
Typical.
Light rain in the Spyder is no real problem, it stings your face a bit at speed but most of it is whisked over your head by the aeroscreen, but heavy rain is not very nice in a completely open car.
So, I'll be sitting this one out this year I'm afraid.
I'll just have to console myself by tucking in to the tin of biscuits my in-laws got me for Christmas -
Kind of reminds me of something, but can't quite put my finger on it...

I did the full Brass Monkey as a passenger in my mate's car.. Sunny in Brandon but then wet the rest of the way. We were at least dry in the cab, but a Ford Model A pickup with no fenders and open engine is perhaps not ideal.
Shame it was too wet to wander and chat.
Hopefully see you next year.
Bob.

Car's looking good as usual Phil. I'm fine btw, working this weekend though but off Monday so should be heading to Stoneleigh so long as it's not going to pi$$ down.
We'll have to have a three Spyder trip up the North Norfolk coast soon Phil, grab some lunch and talk cars. See ya soon.

Phil - Always good to see your car and a big smile on your face.
( Especially given some of the nonsense currently being posted on the forum. )
Seeing you (and other builders) driving around keeps me going on my own build.
Take care, Paul.

Here here.....this is what this forum is all about rather than some of the other negative threads being posted at the minute.
Keep posting the pictures Phil.

As above.
Sadly it's common to a lot of internet forums.
Perhaps because a user name makes people feel anonymous, perhaps because they just type their thoughts whereas in the real world they would think before they say things out loud for fear of a punch in the mouth. I don't know.
If it's something good/interesting/informative/amusing, lets all see it, the use of private messages is for things that should stay private.
My little rant. Sorry. That's it, I keep to good/interesting/informative/amusing from now on.
Hope to see some of you tomorrow, please make yourself known as I've not met any of you before.
Cheers, Bob.
