Not bad at all. Personally I wouldn't have opted for RV8, at 155bhp on carbs (190bhp is possible though) it won't be much quicker than a 1.6.
Bet it sounds nice though.

I had a mx5 with a 3.5 Rover engine in for about 7 years, great fun and sounded glorious. I had a stage 2 engine built, supposed to be about 215bhp, the guy who's got it now had it dyno tested at 200+. Sometimes regret having sold it.

I spoke to the guy on the phone yesterday. Really nice bloke. He wants more for it than I can afford (unfortunately).

Still no bids on it, I thought people would have been falling over themselves for this, although having thought about it, for most of us it is about the building rather than the owning.
