Hi Chris,
yes the cars at the same stage + - 1/2 day.
In itself is as good as done but:
I want velvet coated window seals. Inside all new build and so on. I think in 4-6 weeks I can paint.
I have another question. The rear window in the corners will not fit properly.
The rubber is high outside, it may be that I did not cut enough?

The main thing: I hope we are ready to the Kit Car meeting in May

Hi all,
this week I have to work.
So I only had time today for the car.
We have installed the trunk release.
Works with the original release lever.
Tomorrow we build around the headlights. No problem with my MK2 (H4 bulbs) At the MK2 with Fcelift a nightmare. The MK2 has two bulbs =
2 x 12V positive.
2 x - Ground.
it is not possible to take 1 time mass (-) and 2x positive. The light will not switchback from high beam to low beam. One knows the problem?

greets Heinrich

Hi Chris,
I've tried, is unfortunately not.
I'll try tomorrow with an electronic lock, hot carrier diode (Schottkey diode).
otherwise I'll build a mono-flop circuit.
On my '99 MX it is so easy, the face lift car is a little devil

Yesterday I got the cover and fog lamps from the Mini One (R65)
They look great and I'm looking forward to the installation.
I got a question about the windshield wipers.
Most use the Land Rover parts, I do not like thad, they are too small.
Has any one extend the spindle, for use of the orig MX5 wiper? .How was it done? i am looking for a easy solution, please help us

The simple solution for windshield wipers
I did not want the Land Rover adapter.
The wipers are very small and the cleaned area is too small.

I have the original wiper extended by 40mm.
On the bottom I have been tightened with 80nm. (1 drop of Loctite)
The top I have pointed
The wipers I tightened with a M8x20mm screw and spring washer.
that's it

Sorry for the delay answering Heinrich, we have been soooooooo busy.

I see you have now come up with a perfect solution

I am very interested to see how the Mini lights will fit into the vent holes.

Only 7 weeks until Stoneleigh!!
