Well I've started on the re-wiring:

The old loom has been stripped out, the new loom is laid out, the replacement ECU has been sent off to have the EWS deleted, the problems I am finding at this early stage are that some of the 3-wire plugs on the old loom seem to match to 2-wire plugs on the new loom and vice versa. Plus there's a whole lot of wires which used to presumably link to the instrument cluster which I have to work out what to do with.

I have also stripped off the bodywork and will be getting the glass fibre painted and the aluminium panels carbon fibre skinned, assuming he can cope with all the louvres.

Tim

PS I'd forgotten what a pig the dashboard is to get off!

Hi Tim,

Looks like a real challenge! Somehow mine does not look so bad when all the wrining is nicely wrapped up in its loom - I am sure that will change!

I received my Bently manual yesterday and there are loads of wiring diagrams included. Will be happy to share if you need anything.

Good luck!

Cameron
