Don't forget the IVA requirements for Seats... The seat back must incorporate a head rest and should be at least 70 cm above a rectangular block 136mm x 53mm high on the seat base. See section 15 of the IVA manual

Depending on your budget, you may want to give these chaps a ring:

They do vinyl, leather or part and part. They also do IVA compliant bucket seats which is what I've gone for:

I used MX5 seats. Ebay £100 plus £275 for new leather covers (also ebay)

Using production car seats means you have a steel frame and comfort of knowing that they have been crash tested.

They are also comfortable!
