I have left the wheels bare at the moment because of work getting in the way. Chris is going to sort out the tyres thankfully. I think he mentioned Falcon

Great the way it all un-bolts, and the engine is very neat looking. Are you narrowing rear wheel arches?

Chris really cracks on once a project starts. That looks good but what happened to the Maserati idea?

Getting the front wings lower will be a problem for Chris to overcome due to the high strut towers. Enlarging the bonnet opening so the wing edges run the outside of the towers will allow the wing top to be 40mm or so lower but it still looks high to me.

Finally on a computer that allows me to post pictures so here goes.
Take a standard kit :
Take a large saw :
Some gaffer tape :
And you get the start of a car :
The arse has to be made a bit fatter but I really rather like this shot :

Do you not think the wind might get under the Gaffer tape and peel it? I'd hate to see the rear valance fly off down the motorway. It may be better to use Speed tape as we used to repair aircraft skins with that
Seriously though, it does look like a good start to a unique project and we'll be following with interest

That's not gaffer tape! It is prototype venting

That 250 body shell looks rather a good fit on the beemer. A possible alternative doner?

So are you going for modern body and retro wire wheels/riveting detail?
