Default mk1 or mk2 MX5

This is one for all the mx5 drivers my 250gto kit should be ready on the 27th and I can not wait. problem is I have still not found a good base car I don't wont one thats falling to bits. I have been looking for a mk2 but a mk1 has come up with next to no millage on any advice people. should I wait on a mk2 or go with the mk1 .

It depends on what your wanting to achieve with the look. I went for a mk1 because of the more dated tan interior. and im not sure the door shape of the mk2 suites the kit.

yes I do agree I do like the look of the early mk1 interior and the latter mk3. well its the mk2 for me because the car I got has a new roof, roll bar and after market 15inch alloys on. by the time I sold what I don't need I will cover most of the cost of the car 700quid good start to he project. interiors can always be changed andy
