Not heard this.
I wonder if it is because there is too much competition with Totalkitcar Live?

I have been going to this for years not being too far from it, and must say it has been getting less supported each year. Visitors and exhibitors. And I think you are probably right TKC live a couple of weeks later will not help.

Nope…
It would have been my eighth year of being barred .
A lot has happened over the past 7 years...
The parent magazine is looking decidedly ill too !
One gains the impression that years of shouting are nearly over .

I know you have your reasons Den and it's well documented and understandable but putting all that aside I think it would be a sad day if Which Kit disappeared (not saying it is going to of course)
I grew up and got into kitcars reading both magazines (and kit cars international) and have always liked which kits articles and layout (and still do). I've never had a preference for one or the other, I just regard them as a good read on a subject I'm in to. Maybe I'm being sentimental but I'd rather Which Kit (car) stayed on the scene.

I do indeed and they’re bang up-to-date! Even the January 2006 issue of WKC accuses me of printing “desperate lies ” and “untruths ”.

Den,
Don't go there.
There is critism that can be aired against both mags.
I am guessing that with Stafford show being less and less supported each year and the TKC event being within a few weeks of it, most manufacturers will only want to attend one show.
Most manufacturers find the costs of attending shows too much at the best of times.
If you were a manufacturer, which would you attend?

Well Mark,
In view of the history , that’s a truly astonishing question to put to me .

It was a general statement Den.
The point being, that there is much more interest from owners in the TKC event, so any manufacturer would be daft to chose Stafford over this. As most could only afford one event, it's a no-brainer!

Mark,
I realise that both magazines are equal: but I think that one is more equal than the other .

Put me down for a couple of tickets Den.....
If it got to be a big get together perhaps you could invite a few manufacturers along to exhibit their goods?

Hi Folks,
I’ve updated my events page ( http://www.kit-cars.com/Kitcarhtml/kitcarsite.html ) to let the world know that it’s been cancelled.
Strange though ; inasmuch as Stafford would normally have had what? 20 pages of publicity in WKC ? between October 2005 and Now (February 2006).
What’s strange is that it wasn’t advertised until the February issue and was then cancelled a week after that issue came out.
One wonders if it ever was going to be run ? In which case why just one advertisement at such at late stage? Strange indeed!
Den.
