Default Tiger Racing

Hi,

I have been checking out the Tiger Racing web site and the available cars. As I am a novice I guess that the ideal car to start with would be the 'Tiger Avon Locost' although the 'Tiger Super Six' looks a very nice car!

I would like to know if anyone has built these cars and what are they like to build and drive and do you need an SVA test to take them out on the road once built?

Also, they offer a minimum purchase or a comprehensive kit and I would like to know if I purchased the comprehensive kit what does that include? Is everything included including the engine and seats etc or are these to be obtained from a donor car?

Thanks.

Generally you need a kit and an old Sierra. If you don't want to strip one on the drive then a scrap yard would be a good idea, but stripping it might help you learn a bit about the beast.

Purely as a personal opinion... I looked at the Avon amongst others and chose a Luego Velocity for my son to build. I'd ask on the Locostbuilders site for an opinion on how easy each car is to build.....
