G46 Separate thread?
Just a thought..
But probably too costly or time consuming.. |
Nike55 - Hi Nigel,
Do you mean a separate thread, or separate section of the forum? Personally, I thought it was a real shame to split the Sammio/Ribble/Miglia forum. As these kits have so much in common (Donors, bonding/fibreglassing body shells, etc.). In the mean time, this is as far as I had got with a G-46 build summary. I'm sure we could have a separate G-46 "sticky" if you thought it would help. Cheers, Paul. :) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - G-46 Build Threads: #1 - Lancelot Link / Gaz Davies / Sold Development Thread - Click Here In Paint - Click Here http://i1107.photobucket.com/albums/...terpics070.jpg - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - #2 - Charman.tech - Click Here http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/...s54aca8b3.jpeg - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - #3 - Andrew Rush - Click Here http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...uild/side1.jpg - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - #4 - Nike 55 - Click Here http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...k/DSCF0306.jpg - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - #5 - WorldClassAccident / micky1mo "Nicks Sammio Build - take 2" - Click Here "On the Road" - Click Here "For Sale" - Click Here http://i1329.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1f5c6481.jpg http://i1329.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7db79bef.jpg - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - #6 - HouseMartin - Click Here http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/...ps884db1d3.jpg http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/...ps48d48437.jpg - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - |

Have a look at this site for (IMO) an excellent way to keep track of small volume cars - click on the thumbnail of each entry for more info.

Hi guys, thanks for input. I was indeed thinking of a separate section, but as quite rightly pointed out the building processes for a Ribble/Miglia/G46 are the same, so important to keep together for ease of access to information, the value of which I have never underestimated, indeed thanks to the builders on this site (and others) I now have an extensive library in respect of small volume kit car design and building, in theory and practice, but more importantly mistakes to try to avoid and the remedies to employ when a good idea goes sour.

I'm sure we can put a list like that together. I'll put it on the list of 'wants' as we do the site re-design.
