Did I mention that I need to mould a new small bonnet? Hadn't planned on rebuilding the body.

FFS you're meant to use a small angle grinder, not a paving stone cutter

I use what I had. Small angle grinder on the way though.
Need it for other "stuff" on the body. Big grinder working out okay, more area to re-fiberglass!

Looks like you've jumped in there are you're not afraid to have a go !
I would rather measure twice and cut once but that's me and my projects take a while.
Good luck with your build.

I feel your pain there. Having seen what others have managed to chop and turn around I think you will sort out the issues and end up with a great car. Concentrate on one area and sort it, this will boost your confidence to tackle the next job. Good luck and keep the updates coming.

That's the plan. Doors are coming along well, all 'glassed back together.
Next on the list is the fuel fill.

Might have been corrected so may not be issue now but looking from front you may notice headlight height difference too. Mention it only because you're in snagging mode. As I say may not be the case now

Did not notice that.
Still working on the fuel fill area.
Coming along nicely. No worries.

I'll dwell on that. Appreciate the offer. I really thought it was a simple "J"
shaped extrusion like the attached pic.
Best!

CBS over here can supply black j profile so I am sure you must have a supplier over your side of the pond
Get googling :-)
