Hi all

Been looking at kit cars on fleabay etc for over 8 years and wanted either a westie / robin hood etc type but ended up owning a mgf (5 years) and currentlt a 2001 mr2 but keep going back to kit cars , basically something different .
I,m No mechanic so always worried about buying a kit car but a project car seems appealing but i always think they are someone elses ....oooops what an arse this is to fix ??

Found this forum on the internet and look forward to a good look around it and ask you guys some questions and look at your builds

Welcome on board! There's lots of experience and knowledge here so feel free to ask any questions. If you're new to it all then rebuilding a car that's already sva'd or iva'd may be better but if you've got the patience then it might be worth jumping in and buying a kit, there's nothing like learning on the job

If you get an already registered kit off fleabay, wait a little while until it becomes colder :-) that would save you a fair amount of money, and you could Spend a fair amount on a complete rebuild And have a virtually new car without sva etc .save the cash from a new build and fit a bike engine
