He might have been having an off day and be the greatest British driver never to win a World Championship but he did not strike me as being a gentleman.
Graham Hill on the other hand was a gentleman, a bon vivant, a raconteur, a party animal, a thoroughly decent chap and a bloody good driver Cool? Probably.
In any event with personalities aside we were talking about satorial elegance and I think I was trying to say that what looks cool on someone may not look cool on someone else. Especially Blazers. Striped ones. Henley Regatta or Terry Thomas yes. Anywhere / anyone else not really.
That silver n blue 750 Monza (with the square wheel arches) looks rather neat, but it doesn't really suit it - I suppose I'm too inured with seeing primary red Ferraris.
