Default Choosing a Kitcar

Hi folks,

Had my first go in a kitcar today and I'm hooked. It was a Caterham Seven and the problem is I found it was a bit tight around the shoulders and legs.

Does anyone have any suggestions for kits that have a bit of a wider cab to accomodate my larger frame. I'm 5'11'' and found that I was looking right at the windscreen frame for the majority of the run too.

Any help is appreciated as I have no idea.

Cheers
Dan

Wotcha Dan,

What i'd suggest is to get down to WH Smiths and get a few of the mags. The biggies are:
http://www.completekitcar.co.uk/
http://www.kit-cars.com/kit_car_home.html
http://www.tkcmag.co.uk/

The first two on that list also do additional publications that list and compare the different kits, so that should be just what you're after. I remember from a few years ago when i was going through what you are now, that they give you just this sort of information!

Good luck with your search!

Dave

Dave

Cheers for that I will have a look at some magazines later today. I think I've seen a Haynes manual going around for choosing kits too.

I'll let you know what I decide on.
