Mr T - As always, I am full of admiration for the way you just get on with sorting things out.
I also like the thinking behind switching your MOT date to keep you on the road over the Summer.
Good luck with the MOT, Paul.

Fantastic run down through Thetford forest and along the A11 to Snetterton today. Three Spyders and an early MX5 in convoy in the sunshine on a twisty road, sheer heaven.
Here's the obligatory 'three amigos' shot -
In addition to the racing, which was highly competitive wheel to wheel stuff, there were lots of fabulous classics to drool over. Here's my pick of the customer car park:
Let's see if anyone can put a name to this beauty -
Great looking Alfa 1600 Sprint in classic red -
Alfa Montreal looking great in mustard yellow -
And pick of the racing paddock for me was this supercharged Alfa 8C -
...which dominated its racing class romping home to a well deserved victory with the most spine tingling soundtrack.
Sadly this Maserati didn't make it out of the starting blocks and suffered the ignominy of having to be towed out of the paddock -
If an engine's going to break it might as well look like this though -
All in all a really good day out that I can thoroughly recommend.

No, not a bad try, there was a Gordon Keble there but it has quite a different front end.

Nice one Paul, hadn't seen that picture.
That was a great day out and I can thoroughly recommend it, will note it in my diary for next year.

Hmm, Paul's post above got me searching for reviews/pictures of Sammios out in t'internet land. Found a French (Belgian?) magazine article reviewing Henry Schuerman's beautiful Sammio Chevaux 'Fireball' (love that add-on name given the two cylinder motor).
It seems not everyone can see the charm, challenge and opportunity to drive something truly special that these rebody cars give the ordinary homme dans l'omnibus Clapham.
Apparently, I drive '...a monstrous stinking turd non-imagination, intended to cut down more of those who want to look ... but who have only stupid.'
Luckily, even though I have only stupid I still enjoyed looking at the pictures. Enjoy -

I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion...(I think he's just jealous of us really).
Still, nice to see some pictures of '66' again. Makes me want to get back out in the garage and fix the wiring loom.

Blimey, I don't think the writer was nourris au sein as a baby. What an angry man.
The next time someone asks you what you are driving you can say with pride, "a monstrous stinking turd". I look forward to when I can drive my MST.

I have often thought hmmm that Mr Towed I like his cars faux patina but he who have only stupid!
Sounds like the beginning of ancient Chinese proverb.
Over to you WCA complete as you see fit in your bored convalescent state. Ancient Chinese proverb say, he who have only stupid..............

Well if the writer didn't like a 2CV being transformed into a Sammio...
He would have a complete meltdown if he saw this...

Thanks Phil, still can't resist using it when the weather's dry. Well, you know how addictive the driving experience is!
I might drop in to give you a bit of encouragement before New Year's eve, you about?
Anyway, have a good Christmas and I'll see you soon.
