I dunno, I quite like the look of baseball stitching. Would look great as detailing on tan leather seats. Not sure I'd want it holding my foot on though...

Oh s**t! I didn't expect that with my breakfast!! That must have hurt. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Quite a lot of g46 planning time me thinks.
I found a rotten pit board in the garage last week and thought I had broken something as one leg disappeared in a cloud of rotted timber and the engine crane I grabbed to stop myself tipped onto me. Luckily for me a footballers sponge and a cup of tea and I was back in action again!

Would've been better if you'd left out the word 'or'. I was once confronted by an angry moose that tried to climb up the aircraft steps I was standing on. No, really I was!
Oh, and you forgot to mention it was for cherity mate.

I don't like to talk about that Mate
I was chased around a few bars in Toronto by a 'Cougar'. Was you 'Moose' a similar type of lady?

No, it was your actual four hoofed angry elk in Goose Bay, Newfoundland. It had me trapped on top of the aircraft for about two hours before it got bored and trampled off into the woods.

Sammio Spyder bulkhead finish.
In the interests of keeping things busy, I thought I would take the opportunity post some pictures of our modified bulkhead area. We chose to remove a lot of the original Herald stuff not now required, and will be fitting an alternator - hence the old electrical control box will be redundant. Hope others might like the look !
It took quite a bit of fibreglassing over solid block foam to fill out the voids, and hours of sanding back filler. It is quite carefully sculpted around the clutch and brake master cylinders to leave a small clearance behind them. We plan to put an aluminium header tank in the centre where the heater used to be. Hopefully a tidy finished look under the bonnet when all done.

The alternator has the regulator inbuilt so basically the old regulator has been left as a power distribution point. It can be removed if you want to tidy things up. It's along time since I did one but must be details on net somewhere.

Thanks guys,
Had a quick look along the loom as the net says a lot about bunching and re-soldering wires which i am not keen to do, theres a bit of melting on one wire so will investigate if that links in with info available wouldn't want overheating but then may just be coincidence...Pops

Hi Pops,
I was working off other posts on the net saying you could do away with the box or keep it as an improvised junction box if you wish.
Try this link, there are others.
Seanick: You are welcome to the box but I think has a burnt out link underneath? Pop round sometime & check if its any use to you, otherwise I will bin it.
Paul.
