Default Cooling fan problem

I am building the 1600 k series version, and now matter how i try including trying another ecu, i cannot fathom why my cooling fan works constantly. Can anyone throw any light on this issue. I have unpluged the lead from the sensor and briged it, checked the sensor, and it does not show nay circuit when engine is cold, or medioum heat.

Ideas gratefully accepted, and will be tried.

Hi Steve.

I know on the "T" series that if the coolant temp sensor is unplugged, the ECU switches the fan on constantly. Have you filled system with water?

Hi Grant.

Steve ended up buying a rad and a thermo switch to go with the rad and run it from that instead of ECU. The 5EXI already had the Grey/blue going to the front of the car so that was ok.

HTH.
