Default FAO Patrick - BBS Centre Caps

Patrick - I know that you're using the BBS cross-spokes from your donor. I've got the same wheels, and am in the process of doing them up.

In doing so, I've come across this chap on ebay, who sells some rather nice original BBS wheel caps.

They should be a direct replacement for the original BMW ones - they should just clip in.

Anyway - just thought you might like to know.

They've arrived - they look very nice!

They just snap into the hexagonal wheel boss on the cover plate. They'll look great once I've managed to get all the old paint off the bosses and spray them up black.

Mine are TSW replicas, not BBS. They have two bolts that hold the caps on. Thanks for the link anyways I'll see if they will fit

This is what they look like:

Should look good when I've got the hex parts painted. BTW - Brake fluid is a very good paint stripper for plastics!

Hmm they look like they may fit:

The bit in the middle of the larger ring pulls out:

Hmmm - the centres look quite shallow on the hex's on yours... The caps are quite deep, and have three prongs to clip into the BBS hex's. They're 70mm in diameter.

They may fit, but you may had to 'tweak' them and the hex's to get them to sit right.

I see what you mean, I initially thought that you meant the whole hex bit, but after re-reading the whole stipping think I see you mean just the logo caps.

I've got an idea for those. I've got the details of a local printing company that you can make custom ones
