What are brake light requirements? |

Brake lights must be red in colour
Must show a steady light when the brake is applied (ie doesn’t flicker)
It should only show when the brake is applied
Should be E marked or display equivalent standard.
Must have a minimum of two with a minimum separation distance of 400mm
Should be a minimum of 350mm from the ground with a maximum of 1500mm (2100mm in certain circumstances) - (measured to edge of light unit) |
